Vitapaws Senior/Light Fish & Rice is just as nutrient-dense as the other foods in our Super Premium range, but contains 15% less fat, making it ideal for overweight or less active dogs. Providing a minimum of 20% fish – a lean protein source containing essential omega 3 fats - this formula is also 32% rice while being packed full of other ‘functional ingredients’.
Our nutritionists have also complemented the naturally occurring vitamins and by fortifying the food with others to give you the peace of mind that your ageing dog is getting everything it needs.

Senior dogs have different requirements to their younger counterparts and this is reflected in our meticulously crafted formula. The omega 3 fats that are presently needed for heart health, brain function and vision while supporting the condition of the coat and skin – all-important health parameters for older dogs.
Senior dogs can also require extra joint health support to ensure they stay active in their golden years, especially if they are overweight. To help in this regard, we have incorporated glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM ingredients to support flexibility and comfortable movement.
Many owners also find that as their pet ages, their digestive system isn’t as effective as it used to be. In every effort to ensure your pet's comfort, we have included protein sources that are easy-on-the-stomach as well as beet pulp, pea fibre and yucca schidigera – three ingredients known to support digestive function.
